Congressman Gerry Connolly (D-VA) is a representative of Virginia's 11th Congressional District and Chairman of the House Oversight and Reform Government Operations Subcommittee, which has policy-related oversight over all federal IT spending. He is also the sponsor of bipartisan legislation that would statutorily authorize FedRAMP, and address many vendor-related FedRAMP concerns such as encouraging agencies to accept reciprocal Authority to Operate standards approved by other federal agencies.
