Director of Citizen Service & Response, City of Richmond, VA
Peter Breil has been with the City of Richmond since 2018, serving as the Director of the newly created Department of Citizen Service & Response. CSR oversees the City's 311 service, RVA311, and has implemented multiple improvements to the call center, the application, citizen portal, and mobile apps over the last two years. Mr. Breil is now building the newly created Office of Public Information and Engagement, which will also report to CSR. The Office will coordinate City communications and engagement efforts, extending CSR's mission to democratize access to City services and initiatives, and gather input from all communities. Prior to joining the City, Mr. Breil was a Director of Operations Analysis in Financial Services and Telecomms for 15 years and owned a small business for four years.
