UPDATE ON ADOBE eLEARNING CONFERENCE 2020
Each year, Adobe looks forward to hosting its customers, partners, and employees in Washington, D.C. at the Adobe eLearning Conference to discuss the future of learning and development, unveil the latest product and solution innovations, and inspire each other as an eLearning community.
Over the past few weeks, Adobe has been closely monitoring and evaluating the situation around COVID-19 to ensure they are taking the necessary measures to protect the health and wellbeing of Adobe eLearning Conference attendees. In an abundance of caution for their customers, partners, and employees, Adobe has made the difficult but important decision to cancel the Adobe eLearning Conference 2020 in Washington, D.C., previously scheduled for Wednesday, April 15th.
FAQ
Q. Will the Adobe eLearning Conference be rescheduled to another date?
A. There is no plan to reschedule the Adobe eLearning Conference live event in Washington, D.C. during 2020. However, we plan to cover all of the AEC 2020 sessions in the virtual eLearning World, to be held online in June. If you plan to attend the online conference please register on Adobe's website.
Q. As a registrant of the April 15th Adobe eLearning Conference, will I receive a refund?
A. The Adobe eLearning Conference was a complimentary event, and you were not charged for your registration.
Q. As a registrant of the April 14th Adobe Certified Professional: Adobe Captivate / Adobe Captivate Specialist program, what are my refund options?
A.
Option 1: You can claim a full refund.
Option 2: You can choose to take the Online Certification (also priced at $499) from the comfort of your home or office. The Online ACP Certification program consists of the same online video-based curriculum with an added flexibility of taking the certification on a date of your choice. Please note that the Online Certification does not include the one-day on-site workshop which is part of the Live Certifications where the instructor provides the recap of the online curriculum followed by a mandatory assessment at the end of the very same day.
Q. Are the Adobe Certified Professional: Adobe Captivate and Adobe Captivate Specialist programs the same?
A. Considering the popularity of the Adobe Captivate Specialist Program, Adobe has upgraded the Specialist program to Adobe Certified Professional (ACP) Status. While the preparation curriculum for Specialist and ACP will remain the same, the assessment is different for both programs. Adobe will honor all of the past Captivate Specialists but from mid-February onwards, Adobe will only be offering the ACP: Adobe Captivate program. Adobe is offering Captivate Specialists from previous years a chance to upgrade to Adobe Certified Professional status by taking the ACP Certification exam at no cost. Please contact acpcaptivate@adobe.com if you are an Adobe Captivate Specialist and would like to take the ACP exam at no cost.
