With over two decades of Federal Government experience, David Chow, Trend Micro's Global Chief Technology Strategy Officer, has been a leader in pivotal IT modernization. Serving as the CIO for the US Department of Housing and Urban Development under President Trump, he orchestrated IT modernization, managed a $1.3 trillion portfolio, and enhanced cybersecurity. Additionally, he played a pivotal role as Presidential Transition Chairperson at the White House during the transition from President Bush to Obama. Significant contributions to cybersecurity and privacy protection were also made at financial regulators like the National Credit Union Administration and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. Before joining Trend Micro, David played a key role in driving secure cloud adoption as the Global SVP at CoreLogic, a FinTech data company. An alumnus of Harvard Business School, he now serves as the Chair of Trend Micro's cyberthreat intelligence committee, comprising six current US government executive officials. In his extensive travels, engaging with global government entities and C-level executives, David has observed emerging trends that shape the cybersecurity landscape.
