Assistant Deputy Director, Emergency Services for the Department of Emergency Management, City and County of San Francisco
Kim Bowman is the Assistant Deputy Director for the San Francisco Department of Emergency Management, where she oversees the City's emergency logistics, planning, training, exercise, and credentialing programs. She started her career in emergency medical services, moving from the field to operations to the EMS Administrator role for the County of Marin. From there, she worked as a consultant for Cal OES on various COVID projects and served as the Deputy Operations Section Chief for the 2020 California Statewide Wildfire Recovery mission. She currently serves as the Chair for the MARAC Region II SEMS Advisory Board and is the Coastal Representative for CESA's Legislative Affairs Group.
