Ashley McGowan is the Chief Digital Communications Officer at the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Public Affairs. She oversees the department's flagship social media presences, coordinates strategy and content management for the department's official website justice.gov, and chairs a department working group on social media and policy. She also serves as a spokesperson for the Office of the Chief Information Officer and Office of Information Policy. Prior to joining DOJ Public Affairs, Ashley served as a Strategic Communications Specialist at the Executive Office for U.S. Attorneys where she launched the community's social media program and led the migration and redesign of the community's websites.
