Mr. Fedde has built and served as the chief executive for several cyber security companies including Hexis Cyber Solutions, Inc. and SafeNet, Inc. Mr. Fedde has built and served as the chief executive for several cyber security companies. He was the past president and founder of Hexis Cyber Solutions, Inc., a company that developed ground breaking cyber security capabilities for protecting Enterprises of all sizes through automated detection and response. After achieving sales in the energy, finance, healthcare, tech companies and government markets the Hexis cyber product line was sold to a security company owned by Silicon Valley investors, two and a half years after Hexis' start-up. Prior, Mr. Fedde was president and Chief Executive Officer of SafeNet, Inc., a global leader in data protection. During his tenure at SafeNet, Mr. Fedde led the dynamic growth of SafeNet and expanded SafeNet's presence in the global cyber security markets. He established SafeNet as the fourth largest independent security technology company in the world. SafeNet was sold to Gemalto and Raytheon. Prior to joining SafeNet, Mr. Fedde directed product lines at Harris Corporation, where he established and directed the business of protecting information to the very high levels of U.S. Government security. He has served on public and private boards of directors including AuthenTec, a publicly traded company sold to Apple in 2012. Mr. Fedde currently serves on the advisory boards of CyberMaryland and the University of Maryland (UMBC) bwtech (innovation-incubator center), and the boards of multiple technology firms.
