John Marshall has over thirty years of experience as a senior executive in the United States National Intelligence Community (IC), which includes recent assignments involving close work with the IT and C2 leadership of the NGA, CIA, DIA, ODNI, the Joint Staff, and the Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence.

Mr. Marshall served on a joint duty assignment as Deputy Director for the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence Program Management Office (NSG PMO) in the Information Technology Directorate at the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA). He provided direction and feedback to those NGA organizations responsible for designing, building, validating, and operating systems and services to meet the operational mission needs of the geospatial intelligence community.

Previously, as the Enterprise Systems Department Head with the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI), he was responsible for the maintenance, operation, and enhancement of one of DOD's largest fiber-optic data/video/voice networks, the National Maritime Intelligence Center's (NMIC) Enterprise Systems Infrastructure, which included seven Wide Area Networks, a Secure Video Teleconferencing Studio, 2700 workstations, 80 Servers and NMIC's World-Wide Global Knowledge Center.

Mr. Marshall's Intelligence Community responsibilities also involved oversight for the development and implementation of cutting edge technology capabilities associated within the Defense Intelligence Enterprise, including concept development, integration, interoperability, and experimentation for national intelligence systems and the development of new intelligence technologies. He served on several ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance) task force groups in support of the Secretary of Defense and the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence.

His assignments involving close work with the leadership across the IC included support for the team that developed the IC's Cloud Computing strategy as well as lead acquisition team responsibilities for two programs valued in excess of $300,000,000.00.

Mr. Marshall received the prestigious Betty Swift Civilian Award in recognition of smart desktop computing and information assurance program. He also received the Computers World Top 100 IT Leaders award and the Navy Meritorious Civilian Service Metal.
