More and more higher education institutions are turning to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to power IT infrastructure, high performance computing, and research. Learn about GCP's product offering and special offers for Internet2 higher education members by attending this webinar.
Given the growing interest among Higher Education institutions in GCP to power IT infrastructure, high performance computing, and research, four campuses joined together to represent the Internet2 community's interests. Working collaboratively with Google and Carahsoft, this Service Validation group negotiated the NET+ GCP offering, which included many features and terms important to the Higher Education institutions.
During this 30-minute webinar, you will hear from John Bailey at Washington University St. Louis, a member of the service validation committee, on the group's work, the benefits of the NET+ GCP offering, and some of the unique offerings available to Internet2 members. Representatives from Google and Carahsoft will also provide an overview of the offering.
- Privacy & security: Google Cloud recently announced its HECVAT self-assessment documenting the security abilities of GCP and G Suite.
- The NET+ GCP offering through Internet2: Through its partnership with Internet2, Google Cloud recently launched the NET+ GCP offering providing Internet2 Higher Education members key enhancements including a community negotiated contract for the unique needs of higher education campuses, a BAA, special pricing, free Orbitera billing reporting, the data egress waiver, and deployment and training services and support for NET+ campuses. There are also some time limited special offers exclusively for Internet2 members.
