Todd Pauley serves as the Deputy CISO and Cybersecurity Coordinator at the Texas Education Agency.  Along with being responsible for data protection at TEA, he also works with districts and education service centers around the state to promote cybersecurity. With nine years at TEA and eighteen total in Texas state government, Todd has served in many areas of information technology.  Before finding his calling in cybersecurity, he was a system administrator, a network engineer and even spent some time as an IT auditor conducting risk assessments of internal applications. A West Virginia native, Todd also provided IT support for school districts there before moving to Texas in 2004.
