Join us for session 1 of our Splunk JSP workshop where attendees will gain hands-on Splunk training to assist in future mission success.

| 9:00am - 9:15am | Kick-off: The Splunk team will kick-off what to expect over the day. |
| 9:00am - 12:00pm | Splunk for Rookies: In this workshop, we will walk through a series of exercises designed to get someone new to Splunk to the point where they understand what Splunk is and what it is capable of. Attendees will create their own Splunk app, add some data, and then search and analyze that data to create an interactive dashboard.
Attendees will gain a good understanding of the value Splunk delivers, particularly in the areas of IT operations, security, DevOps, and business analytics. |
| 12:00pm - 1:00pm | Lunch & SOC Tour: Enjoy lunch on us while we showcase how our SOC uses Splunk daily. |
| 1:00pm - 4:30pm | Investigating with Splunk: In this workshop, Splunk experts will show you how to investigate different types of activity - including login, endpoint, and network events - so you can quickly identify root cause and make informed decisions on how to remediate the threat.
During this workshop, you'll learn how to: - Identify the data required to perform an investigation in Splunk
- Understand where and how an attacker entered your network and hosts
- Develop searches in Splunk in order to advance your investigation
- Use essential Splunk commands and key apps
