Ankur focuses on Research and Development in Explainable AI at Google, leveraging language models and other techniques to improve the quality of AI outputs and their use in business processes and end-user workflows. Prior to this, Ankur held positions at Fiddler Labs and Microsoft, driving Explainable AI from theory to practice.  Ankur has co-authored and published numerous papers, including one that won the Outstanding paper award for Publication at the 21st European Symposium on Research in Computer Security (ESORICS) in Sep. 2016. He holds a Ph.D in Computer Science from Stanford University.
