Vasant Ramachandran serves as Head of Technology at Daric, a Silicon Valley Start-X company offering AI-powered risk management and compliance solutions to major global banks, including several of the global systemically important banks (G-SIBs). Vasant has over ten years of experience in architecting a new data paradigm for smart, predictive screening and monitoring of transactions involving both traditional and emergent asset types for illicit flows and financial crime. He is responsible for overseeing all development and technology operations for the company. Prior to Daric, he held positions at leading Silicon Valley companies, including LinkedIn, Palantir Technologies, and Aster Data. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
