piXserve is an enterprise-class software product that can enhance the productivity of law enforcement professionals. The software automatically indexes the contents of images/videos (archived or live sources) and helps users discover content of specific interests: objects, scenes, text strings, and people.
The general use of face-masks due to the pandemic has made it more difficult for law enforcement professionals to generate and investigate leads from image/video sources (archives and live videos). In response, piXserve can now detect and recognize both masked and unmasked faces. Users can submit an image where the individual is wearing a mask, and the software will seek matches to that individual with or without a mask. piXserve can also do this process in reverse, given an original picture of someone without a mask and find a photo of the same person wearing one.
