DISA is now providing Forescout software licenses and training at no cost to the DoD for the Comply-to-Connect (C2C) program. Forescout provides foundational cybersecurity capabilities for C2C and has been implemented by the Navy and U.S. Marine Corps, the pathfinders for C2C. As a result, DISA recently completed its purchase of Forescout, and these licenses are now available to download. This new procurement enables all DoDIN users to receive Forescout licenses from DISA at no cost to the users’ budget.

Forescout is the backbone of C2C, which provides device visibility, device control and NAC, and orchestration with other Army enterprise services, including SCCM, ACAS, and AESS.   

As the DoD rolls out C2C across its networks, here is what you can do now to prepare:

• Register for this upcoming webinar hosted by Carahsoft, which will discuss C2C, Forescout, and the license request process. Carahsoft is the license manager for Forescout under the C2C program.
• Download the licenses to start knowing without a doubt all the devices on your network, including IT, IoT, ICS/SCADA, datacenter, and their compliance level.
• Sign up for the complementary, five-day virtual Forescout Administrators training through DISA. DISA is offering 10 Forescout virtual training classes each month for the first year. Please sign up so you can get a head start on the capabilities and value that Forescout provides.
