Bill Kalogeros, Director, Public Sector, Acalvio  


Bill Kalogeros is the Director, Public Sector for Acalvio Technologies. Bill is responsible for developing the public sector business for the next generation of Advanced Threat Defense (ATD) solutions to detect, engage, and respond to malicious activity inside the perimeter (Deception 2.0).


Mr. Kalogeros has DoD Programs of Record with DISA (ECOS) and NRL (DPI-VHE). He’s also held senior-level Business Development positions at GE Comstor, Cisco Federal, Bivio Networks, CloudShield, and HP TippingPoint, Inc. and works with leading industry prime contractors: BAE, ManTech, Lockheed-Martin, Northrop Grumman, etc. focused on Cyber Security solutions. His security industry experience has allowed him to brief Members of the US Senate and House, DISA, Canada Department of National Defense, and the Transportation Security Administration regarding information assurance, defense-in-depth technologies, and new technologies addressing Homeland Security requirements (SDP for cyber.gov).  Mr. Kalogeros has spoken at numerous government and commercial conferences in the US and Europe, at RSA, AFCEA, LinuxWorld, and the Techno Security Conference speaking on Platforms for Secure Military Networks and the impact of IPv6, as well as a contributed articles and Podcast to LinuxWorld Magazine: A Network Appliance Platform for Linux Applications for the US Department of Defense. 


Bill began his career proudly serving in the United States Army from 1981-1985 as an Army Ranger and Arctic Paratrooper, and brings more than 25 years of overall Cyber solution integration, business development, and management experience that includes leadership roles with alliance and partner development teams and industry/consortium working groups. 




Jim Mason, CISSP, Senior Solutions Eningeer, Acalvio


Jim Mason, CISSP is a Senior Solutions Engineer with Acalvio, a leader in the deception technology market. He has 30 years of Information Technology experience, including tenures at LogRhythm, A10 Networks, Riverbed Technology, Fortinet, Cisco Systems, Foundry Networks, and Anixter. Jim is a native of Philadelphia, PA and has resided in the Charlotte, NC area since 1994.
