Craig McLuckie is the VP of Products and Strategy for VMware's Modern Applications Platforms business unit. Craig arrived at VMware via the acquisition of Heptio, a leader in the cloud native market and a company that he co-founded and led as CEO. Previously, Craig spent time in senior positions at Microsoft and Google; at the latter he made significant contributions to Google Engine and Kubernetes. Craig also co-founded the Cloud Native Computing Foundation.

James Watters is the CTO of Modern Application of Platforms business unit, VMware Tanzu. Prior to VMware, James was the SVP of Strategy at Pivotal. James worked closely with Pivotal's enterprise customers to shape the product and go-to-market strategy for Pivotal Cloud Foundry and its internally and externally built ecosystem. James has been responsible for the Cloud Foundry platform strategy since the technology's early incubation at VMware. From the beginning of Pivotal's founding, James held leadership responsibilities for Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Spring, RabbiMQ products, field engineering, overlay sales, marketing, partner development, and engineering.
