Upgrade Your Self-Supported Environment Now and Save
Cloudera has reinforced its commitment to open source in a recent and exciting announcement. Starting September 2019, all Cloudera product source codes will adhere to licensing approved under the Open Source Initiative (OSI). Access to all product binaries and source codes made available from Cloudera will require a Support Subscription Agreement. This is a great step forward and has the potential to impact your projects, programs, or production systems.
Will there be an impact to your current environment?
- If you have an active subscription, you will continue to receive the enterprise support, trusted performance, security patches, certifications, and accreditations that you have come to expect through your Cloudera Support Subscription
- If you are running unsupported variants of Cloudera technology, you will now need a Cloudera Support Subscription to access the product binaries, security patches, and accreditations/certifications necessary for federal environments
To ensure that our federal customers have access to the Cloudera product binaries and critical security patches, we are pleased to offer a special Federal Year-End Offer for Federal customers interested in upgrading their unsupported installations to enterprise supported environments entitled under a Cloudera Support Subscription.
