Join F5 Networks and Carahsoft for Session 2 of the Exploring F5 Seminar Series: Introduction to iWorkflow, iApps, and the Tenant Model.

In Session 1 of the Exploring F5 Seminar Series we defined the framework for a variety of topics related to F5’s vision for cloud services and the new network perimeter.  We broke those capabilities down into three main areas:
  • Age of Enlightenment – Analytics and SSL Visibility
  • Industrial Revolution – Orchestration and Automation
  • Space Age – Cloud Migration
In this session we’re going to draw upon the innovation of Henry Ford’s assembly line and discuss F5’s automation components including iWorkflow, iApps and REST programmability. We will also talk about the importance of an Imperative versus Declarative automation model. The purpose of this session is to define the F5 building blocks for taking advantage of more advanced automation principles in tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, and Chef. Evolving to the next generation data center involves leveraging Application Programming Interfaces (API’s) and programmatically defining how your users consume applications on your network.  In this session and the ones that follow, we will begin to discuss simple steps you can take today to begin to programmatically take control of your network.

Stay tuned for these upcoming Exploring F5 Seminar Series events:
Session 3 – Cloud Architectures Defined
Session 4 – Programmability 101: Introduction to REST

*A complimentary lunch will be provided.
